The German Flute Society is set to host its annual “Flute Days” on September 21-22, 2024, at the Saarbrücken University of Music.
This event promises to be a vibrant celebration of flute music, featuring a stellar lineup of guest artists, including András Adorjan, Britta Bauer, Jean-Louis Beaumadier, Moshe Epstein, Tilmann Dehnhard, Eyal Ein-Habar, Christina Fassbender, Sandrine François, Peter-Lukas Graf, Martin Hennecke, Carlo Jans, Philipp Jundt, Eric Kirchhoff, Patrice Kirchhoff, Anton Kushnir, Sarah Louvion, Gareth McLearnon, Gaby Pas-VanRiet, Sibel Pensel, Marine Perez, Ulf-Dieter Schaaff, Denis Verroust, Stephanie Wagner, Tatjana Ruhland, Edmund Wächter, Claudia Wälder-Jene, Elisabeth Weinzierl, and Ruth Wentorf.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and masterclasses. The event will also feature a special youth program, ensuring that young flutists have the opportunity to learn and grow. One of the highlights will be the Flute Days flute orchestra, directed by Gareth McLearnon, where all participants can join in and perform together.
