Registration opens for MTNA 2024-2025 Chamber Music Performance Competition
The Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) is pleased to announce the 2024-2025 Chamber Music Performance Competition, featuring categories for strings and winds.
Competition Overview
This competition focuses on ensembles predominantly composed of wind instruments, including the flute, and will be conducted in two stages: a preliminary round via video submission, followed by a live final round during the MTNA National Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from March 15-19, 2025.
Registration Opens: November 1, 2024
Video Submission Deadline: December 4, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Final Round: Live at the MTNA National Conference
Prizes for Wind Ensembles
First Place: $3,000
Second Place: $2,000
Third Place: $1,000
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible participants must be between 18 and 29 years old as of January 1, 2025. Each ensemble must consist of 3 to 6 performers, and ensemble personnel cannot be changed after registration.
Fostering Artistic Collaboration
