1) Does Flute Almanac have any subscription or paid plans?
No. Flute Almanac doesn’t require or offer any subscriptions or paid plans as of now. This could change in the future.
2) How can I publish my articles in the Magazine?
We welcome talented individuals in the flute world to share their professional knowledge and experience. If you want to contribute, please refer to our articles guidelines. We prefer unique content that has never been published before.
3) Can I publish my articles only in a text format?
Not necessarily. You can also publish video contributions, such as lessons, presentations, or interviews. Upload your video to your YouTube channel and send us the unlisted link to embed it in Flute Almanac.
4) Which language can I use?
You can use your native language for both text and video. (See Q&A no.9 &10 on how to turn on subtitles and translations ion the website and n YouTube videos.)
5) How can I participate in the Forum?
Create an account to write in the Forum and open new topics. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to verify your account. The Forum allows you to add pictures, videos, files, links, and create polls. You can also promote your professional achievements, activities, and social accounts.
6) What do I receive for my participation in Flute Almanac?
Flute Almanac provides a modern and secure platform to bring flutists together. By participating, you gain exposure among the global flute community, and your contributions are promoted on social media, including your name, article, and links.
Each author is provided with their own dedicated page on the website, where they can include an unlimited amount of links, text, videos, and any other content they wish to showcase. This page is optimized to appear in search results across all major search engines.
7) Can I place an advertisement on your website?
Yes. We accept ads to fund the project and support its technical requirements and security, and to enhance the user experience. Please read our advertising options for more details.
8) Can I promote my event, such as a masterclass, concert, festival, competition, or course?
Yes. We offer this service through the Flute Almanac Calendar, which has an extensive list of subscribers globally.
9) How to change the language in Flute Almanac if you are reading from your phone and cannot see all available languages in the translation button?
- Open your browser settings (three dots or lines on the top/bottom right).
- Select the desktop version.
- Click the translate button and select your language.
- Switch back to the mobile version in the settings. Your language choice will be remembered.
10) How to turn on subtitles and translations in YouTube videos?
- Open the YouTube video and click on the “Settings” icon (gear icon).
- Select “Subtitles/CC” and choose a language if available.
- To translate subtitles, click on “Auto-translate” and select your preferred language from the list.
