Organized by the Associazione Flautisti Calabresi
The Festival del Flauto, presented by the Associazione Flautisti Calabresi, returns for its fourth edition on January 24–25, 2026, promising to be one of the most anticipated flute events in Italy. For two days, Calabria will become a hub for flute artistry, pedagogy, and performance, welcoming students, professionals, and enthusiasts to an inspiring program of masterclasses, concerts, and cultural exchange.
Under the artistic direction of Maestro Francesco Guido, the festival continues the Association’s mission to promote flute playing in southern Italy and offer opportunities for growth, collaboration, and artistic excellence.
A Growing Center of Flute Culture
In recent years, the Associazione Flautisti Calabresi has become a vital part of Italy’s flute community. Known for initiatives such as the Franz Doppler International Flute Competition, the association provides high-level opportunities for emerging artists while fostering a strong musical network across the region.
