On November 22, 2025, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Flöte e.V. (DGfF) will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a full day dedicated to the flute. The event, titled “Flute Day,” will take place from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Gasteig (Saal X) in Munich.
This special occasion will bring together some of the world’s most renowned flutists, educators, and ensembles for an inspiring day of concerts, workshops, lectures, masterclasses, and a flute orchestra project.

In addition, a music exhibition by Bauer & Hieber will be presented. Due to space limitations, there will be no instrument exhibition on this occasion.

Founded in 1985, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Flöte e.V. has played a pivotal role in promoting the flute across Germany and beyond. Through its festivals, publications, and educational initiatives, the society has built a strong network of flutists and continues to inspire new generations of musicians.
