Precious metal flutes
Quote from Deleted user on January 20, 2026, 4:55 pmSomewhere I heard that "Precious metal flute" was the correct term for a flute made with ALL sterling silver -- tube, keys, rods, everything except the screws, pads and maybe the crown.
I'm asking for you to rank these in order of "quality" :
Gemeinhardt "SS"
Selmer Sxxxx
Selmer Omega (earlier version)
Arlley Wilkins / 38-0
Armstrong Heritage
Armstrong Emeritus
Bettoney
What did I leave out?Thanks
