Kate Clark
Born in Sydney in 1962, Kate Clark holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Sydney, specializing in both modern and baroque flutes. She studied under Barthold Kuijken at the Royal Conservatorium in Den Haag, earning her Soloist’s Diploma “cum laude.”
Clark has performed and recorded extensively throughout Europe, collaborating with various ensembles and orchestras. Her contributions extend to Australia, where she performs with The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and The Australian Chamber Orchestra.
As co-founder and artistic director, she leads the Attaignant Consort, known for their debut CD “Madame d’amours.”
Kate Clark teaches historical flutes at the Royal Conservatorium in Den Haag.
