A high-level flute masterclass with Paolo Taballione will be held from July 21 to 25, 2025, in Riva del Garda, Italy, as part of the MusicaRiva Festival.
This course offers a rare opportunity to work with one of today’s most internationally respected flutists. Currently principal flutist of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Taballione is known for his expressive playing and refined musical insight.
Participation as an active student is subject to video audition, with a deadline of June 1. Selected students will receive individual instruction during the course. Those not selected may register as listeners (Auditori apprentices) and attend all sessions as observers – an enriching experience in itself.
This year’s edition will also feature Simone Ginanneschi, technician for Borsari Strumenti Musicali, who will be present throughout the course to offer:
- Complimentary flute check-ups for all participants
- An exhibition of newly released flutes
- A free seminar on instrument care and maintenance
