A truly inspiring musical event unfolded in Warsaw, Poland, as Italian conductor Paolo Totti led a remarkable flute orchestra of 60 young musicians in a celebratory concert at the conclusion of the Warsaw Flute Workshops and Suzuki Method course. The stage came alive with flutists of all ages and backgrounds – professionals, students, and children from both Poland and Italy – performing side by side in an unforgettable performance of unity and sound.

The brainchild of flutist and Suzuki flute teacher Dorota Buczyńska-Prokopowicz, this special event marked the second extraordinary edition of the workshop, which continues to grow in both artistic depth and international collaboration. The program was supported by outstanding Polish flute educators including Katarzyna Górecka, Johanna Popek, and Weronika Wiltos, and enriched by the presence of two talented cellists and a pianist who added warmth and dimension to the ensemble.
In Totti’s words, conducting this group was an “honor and an emotional experience.” He praised the participants’ musical growth, discipline, and infectious enthusiasm:
“60 flautists from all over Poland… gave me the opportunity to work musically on a very interesting and nuanced program. I was touched by their dedication, growth, and motivation.”
Special thanks go to Mrs. Barbara Karniewska, Director of the Wawerskie Centrum Kultury (Wawer Cultural Center), for her warm welcome and for generously sharing the beautiful concert hall that made this event possible. Her support helped create the perfect setting for a truly memorable performance.
Special thanks were extended to Eliana D’Angelo and Gaia Esposito and to the logistical support of Tomasz and Dominika, as well as the hospitality of Polish families who opened their homes and hearts, were also deeply appreciated.
Totti leaves Poland “honored, touched, happy, and motivated,” with plans already in motion for a return in March 2026.
This concert was more than a final performance – it was a celebration of cultural exchange, musical mentorship, and the transformative power of music shared across generations and borders.
