Invitations for Article Submissions
Contribute Your Expertise: If you have a unique perspective on flute-related topics, such as historical events, technical advancements, teaching methods or personal stories, we invite you to share your insights. Our articles aim to inform, engage, and influence the flute community, encouraging readers to think deeply about the subjects discussed.
Flute Almanac publishes four editions annually on March 15, June 15, September 15, and December 15. To be considered for publication, please submit your articles by the last day of the preceding month: February 28, May 31, August 31, and November 30. We encourage early submissions to allow ample time for collaborative editing and visual enhancements, ensuring your article is presented at its best.
At Flute Almanac, we offer immediate translation capabilities for over 100 languages, enabling you to write in your native language.
You may enhance your article with images or video links (such as YouTube or Vimeo). Remember to ensure you have the rights to any images you submit and provide the names of the authors and titles of the works whenever possible.

Submission Guidelines for Flute Almanac
Please ensure you follow these guidelines carefully when submitting your article. Non-compliance may result in publishing delays or your article being moved to the next available edition.
1. Article File Format: Submit your article as a Word or text file (.doc, .docx, .txt) via email to flutealmanac@gmail.com. Please avoid sending articles in PDF format.
2. Biography: Limit your biography to 2-3 paragraphs. This should be succinct, with a link to your website for readers seeking more information.
3. Photograph for Biography: Include a photograph of yourself for the biography section.
4. Links: You may include a few links directing readers to your website, social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram), or YouTube channel.
5. Main Image for the Article: Choose an image that reflects the essence of your article to accompany the title on all pages. Please do not use a personal photograph for this purpose.
6. Images for the Article: Attach all images intended for the article body separately in your email. Ensure they are high resolution and free from copyright restrictions. Provide detailed descriptions, including copyright information and names, and indicate where they should be placed in the text.
7. Video Links: If your article includes video content, embed the links directly in the text of the Word document and provide a title or brief description for each video. Ensure videos are hosted on platforms like YouTube or Vimeo.
